These figures show numerical simulations of the open channel flow in complex cases like those highly unsteady and/or containing shock waves. Solutions of the 2D Saint-Venant equations with source terms were obtained with finite volumes using rectangular and unstructured triangular meshes. A proper wet-dry strategy was implemented.
