The Instituto de Matemática y Física at the Universidad de Talca, with the sponsorship of the ten Universities of the Council of Rectors of the Southern Zone and the Society of Mathematics of Chile, organizes the XXIX Mathematics Lecture of the South Zone. This event will be held on April 21, 22 and 23, 2016 at the Colchagua Campus at the Universidad de Talca, located at Calle Ramón Sanfurgo 980 in the city of Santa Cruz, VI Region.

CI²MA sub-director Dr. Raimund Bürger will deliver one of the plenary lectures, and nine other researchers and students will participate in the Thematic Session of Applied Mathematics and Numerical Analysis.
