They participated as speakers in the conference WIMCB
Verónica Anaya, David Mora, and Mauricio Sepúlveda, researchers of the Center for Research in Mathematical Engineering (CI²MA), participated as invited speakers in the workshop entitled: Modeling and Numerical Computation for Biomathematics (WIMCB), held at the Higher School of Technology of Essaouira (ESTE), Essaouira, Morocco, from July 8 to July 10, 2019. This meeting, organized by the University of Cadi Ayyad, Marrakech, Morocco, and the University of Bordeaux, France, was intended to bring together researchers from Morocco, France and Chile, in order to exchange knowledges on Numerical Analysis, Modeling in Biomathematics and Inverse Problems. In turn, professor Ricardo Ruiz Baier, of the Mathematical Institute of the University of Oxford, United Kingdom, who is, as Anaya and Mora are, graduate of the Doctorate Program in Applied Sciences with major in Mathematical Engineering of the University of Concepción, and professor Mostafa Bendahmane, of the University of Bordeaux, and organizer of the event, both active collaborators with several CI²MA researchers, also participated in WIMCB. This conference had additionally presentations by local professors and students, and it ended with a round table in which several ideas were exchanged and diverse possible topics were discussed aiming to future joint works.
