Accommodation

The conference will take place in Puerto Varas city by Llanquihue lake, at the Hotel Cumbres. You will need to book for accommodation in Puerto Varas.

The Hotel Cumbres is offering the special prices indicated below for participants of the Conference:

Reservations must be done by contacting the Hotel Cumbres directly via e-mail: reservaspuertovaras@hotelescumbres.cl and clearly indicating that you will be partcipating in the conference LANUS-FEM. A credit card will be requested as a safety guarantee.

Foreign participants:

Note that the conversion from Chilean pesos (CLP) to American dollars (USD), which in 2014 has been approximately USD $1.00= CLP $560, may continue to vary due to fluctuating exchange rates. In addition, the taxes indicated above correspond to IVA (19 %).

However, the taxes do not apply to foreign participants. In order to get this benefit, you have to do the following at the Hotel:

  1. Present the passport.
  2. Present the form you filled out with the international police when you entered the country.
  3. Pay for your stay in US dollars.

The promotional price for the Hotel Cumbres is dependent on availability, so please make your reservations as soon as possible.
