Exponential stability to Timoshenko system with shear boundary dissipation
Abstract:
In this paper we consider a Timoshenko model with boundary dissipation over the shear force effective in only one side. We prove that to get the exponential stability of the related contraction semigroup, the equality of the wave propagations is not enough, it is necessary additional conditions over the coefficient of the system.
