Thesis Title | Phenomenological Modeling of Vortex Flow: Application to Hydrocyclones
Thesis Summary:In this thesis we propose a phenomenological model that represents the vortex flow developed within a flat bottom hydrocyclone. A solution is tested for medium velocity and mean fluid pressure fields. In addition, an expansion method is used in terms of the Rossby number to obtain a specific complete solution.
